PCB Coaster Christmas Tree & Christmas Flower

The history of Christmas trees goes back to the symbolic use of evergreens in ancient Egypt and Rome and continues with the German tradition of candlelit Christmas trees first brought to America in the 1800s.

This PCB coaster featured a Christmas tree on one side and a Christmas flower on the other side. The artist brilliantly combines the materials used to fabricate printed circuit boards (PCB) such as copper, immersion gold, soldermask and silkscreen to create art. The tree and the flower are drawn using white silkscreen traces. Immersion gold is used to highlight the red color from the soldermask.
