PCB Coaster Santa & Christmas Stocking

Santa Claus—otherwise known as Saint Nicholas or Kris Kringle— has a long history steeped in Christmas traditions. Today, he is thought of mainly as the jolly man in red who brings toys to good girls and boys on Christmas Eve, but his story stretches all the way back to the 3rd century, when Saint Nicholas walked the earth and became the patron saint of children.

This PCB coaster featured a Santa on one side and a Christmas Stocking on the other side. The artist brilliantly combines the materials used to fabricate printed circuit boards (PCB) such as copper, immersion gold, soldermask and silkscreen to create art. Santa and the Christmas Stocking are drawn using white silkscreen traces. Immersion gold is used to highlight the red color from the soldermask.
