PCB Coaster Beetle & Grasshoppers

Beetles are the most common type of insect. They differ from all other winged insects by having the front pair of wings hardened and thickened. There are 12,000 different kinds of beetles in the United States and over 300,000 species in the world. Some beetles are not considered pests.

Grasshoppers are known to be insects that can make great leaps with their long and strong legs. They are herbivorous and live in meadows, forests, forests and dry land.

This PCB coaster featured a beetle on one side and a grasshopper on the other side. The designer combines the materials used to fabricate printed circuit boards (PCB) such as copper, immersion gold, soldermask and silkscreen to create art. The beetle and the grasshopperst are drawn using white silkscreen traces. Immersion gold is used to contrast with the green color of nature made with glossy black soldermask.
